News from Feinwerkbau

At the IWA fair in Germany the Feinwerkbau sales manager gave me some good news in these days of ever increasing prices, instead of the usual annual price rises they announced that they have either held steady or on some models reduced prices for popular product lines.

The 2700 series smallbore rifles and the AW 93 pistols have unchanged prices while the air rifles and air pistols have had a price reduction and with the strength of the A$ against the Euro there has never been a better time to buy a new FWB.

There are also some important changes to the product line up:-

The Evolution & Evolution Top air rifle models are no longer available in yellow, red or green colours, now only available with beech wood grip and cheek piece finished in either blue or "ecru" which is a clear finish.

The Evolution model is more basic with a rubber butt plate system and the sight system is not adjustable for height, the Evolution Top has the 4 x 4 Vario sight raising system allowing the shooter to get the sights in precisely the right elevation for their shooting style, also supplied with metal adjustable butt plate system.

The Model 700 Junior Air Rifle has been re-introduced to the range due to shooter requests.

The various Model 700 air rifles can be upgraded with the accessories of the higher grade models as funds become available or as the shooter grows in the case of the Junior models.

The field target air rifle has been discontinued from the range.

In common with the air rifle range air pistols will now only be shipped with one air cylinder mounted, customers wanting an additional cylinder will need to order this as an accessory item.

There is now also a shorter lighter model available in the P44 air pistol range and the AW 93 is also offered in a lightweight version.
