Target Shooting
Target shooting remains one of the key globally recognised sports. An Olympic Games event, target shooting has a very strong following, it is one of the few sports which have continued to be conducted in every Olympic Games of the modern era and it has a very high participation rate particularly overseas.
Shooting sports are classified by the types of firearm used by the participant - such as rifle, pistol and shotgun. There are events for all of these in the Olympic program.

As we don’t compete in shotgun events other than Blackpowder or Vintagers with a side by side we don’t deal in competition shotguns, I don’t know enough of the clay target sports to offer worthwhile advice so I leave the shotguns to experts.
